People's Music School: CounterPoint Newsletter

CounterPoint is a simple 4-page newsletter that Seneca creates pro bono for the People's Music School, a non-profit institution that provides high-quality, classical music education to any student, free of charge.

The newsletter is distributed to the School's students and volunteers of course, but most importantly, it's sent to all the funding organizations that keep the school alive. It's a great way for them to keep up on the school's activities and see how much their grants are doing for the struggling community where the School is located.

Volunteers take the pictures and send them to Seneca, and staff members contribute calendar items and the occasional story. Seneca makes it all fit into the 4-page layout, enhancing photos, editing stories, writing headlines and adding art as necessary. The final newsletter is reproduced on a color copier donated to the School.
